IT Disaster Recovery Professional 
The NIBCM's IT Disaster Recovery Professional (ITDRP) designation is an internationally recognized business continuity management (BCM) certification. It is designed to acknowledge a BCM practitioner's thorough competency in understanding and applying the "Best Principles" and "Best Practices" of IT Disaster Recovery.
These BCM professionals may be executives, managers, business continuity planners and business unit staff who are or may be involved in or manage business continuity planning functions. They may also be emergency managers, internal and external auditors, records managers, information technology managers, administrative heads, and others responsible for the effective administration of any size of organization.
How to Become Certified
- Attend and Complete the online BCM-901 Diploma in Business Continuity & Resiliency Management course;
- Attempt and Pass the ITDRP exam with at least a minimum score of 70%.
Procedures
- Sign up for the course at www.BCMcourses.com
- Pay the Course Fee; the ITDRP exam fee is included in the course fee
- Take all lessons in the course, homework assignments are optional
- Answer quizzes at the end of each lesson
- Answer the ITDRP Exam with at least a 70% score; or complete both the mid-term and final exams with a minimum of 70% in each.
- Be awarded the ITDRP certification
Certification
- Requirement: Pass the ITDRP Examination
- Experience: No experience is needed for the award of the certification if the BCM-901 course is completed. The course is considered equivalent to 2 years' on-the-job experience. Otherwise, at least two years of verifiable experience planning IT Disaster Recovery using ISO 27031 is required.
